Reasons to love Molise
1. Blue Skies
More than three hundred days a year, skies of blue hangover Molise. A blue that is drawn in picture books.
Sometimes, a few wisps of clouds drift across the carpet of blueness, whilst on other days small clumps of cotton wool float gently over in a breeze.
Occasionally one awakes to grey skies, when rain is in the air, or when snow drifts down from the mountains,
But most of the time it's blue skies every day.
2. The Mountains
Molise is fringed with mountains, now snow-capped as winter approaches.
You can walk in the flower-strewn meadows in the summer.
Crunch through the brown and amber leaves from falling from the oaks
Ski in small friendly resorts in the winter.
From my house, I can see the Matese mountains, now iced with snow on one side, and the glistening Adriatic sea on the other, sheer bliss every day............
3. The Sea
The azure waters of the Adriatic lap on sandy shores, creating gentle waves.
Beachfront bars are scattered along the coast in the summer, with brightly striped umbrellas marching in rows across the beach.
Termoli' a small coastal city sits proudly on the edge of the sea, it's castle proudly guarding it for centuries.
5. Food, very good food.
Taste the olives, bread, and cheeses savouring delicious delectable dishes which the local cuisine offers.in abundance.
From bowls of steaming pasta to tiny bite-sized biscuits, cakes, salamis and so much more.
Molise holds it all in store.
Eat freshly caught fish by the sea,
steaming hot wholesome meat dishes in the mountains
,
and ice cream anywhere
6. Red, Red Wine
Echoing the words of Bob Marley, red, red wine which here in Molise comes from the Tintillia grape. It is truly scrumptious.
This rich full-bodied fruity wine is just delicious.

Always a beautiful end to a beautiful day.
